Focus: The focus of this public FAQ/Self Help guide is to provide you an overview and details about the use of “tokens” and how we use them in Cliently Flow actions.
What are Tokens?: A token is a piece of code that you can insert into a flow “action” to auto populate field information. For example, if you have filled out the Contact Fields (First Name, Last Name, Company Name, Email address) for your contact, you can insert in a token to auto-fill those fields in your flow "action".
Which Flow actions can use tokens?: The following actions can use tokens:
- Email Action
- Gift Action
- Handwritten Notes
- Video Message Action
- Postcard Action
- Task Action – Using Linkedin Tasks – Message
Example of Tokens and their values:
Manually adding tokens?: If you are not using the selector in Step 1, but rather typing in the token. Please make sure it is "Exact" for upper and lower case letters as shown above or the token will not populate.
Please Note: Make sure your Cliently Account settings fields have been completed in order to use your Settings as tokens. Verify your Cliently "Signature" is setup in order to populate that information in your emails/video messages.
