Focus: The focus of this public FAQ/Self Help guide is to provide you an overview and details on how to copy/clone a global flow in your Cliently account.
What are Cliently Flows?: A flow is a list of items based upon “actions” that were added. For Example: Send email, wait 1 day, Send Video message, wait 2 days, Send postcard. (Per Action) Email, etc…

Why would I want to copy/clone a Global Flow?: Let’s say you have an existing flow, but want to modify for a small change. Coping/cloning a flow a is a great way to go as you can have unlimited flows in your account and have multiple variations of your flow. Please keep in mind that the copy will bring over all data from the original flow. This includes the {tokens} used as well as the return address information used in the physical mail options - postcards, handwritten notes, gift cards.
Team permission levels access and copy. All team members who have access to view the flow can also copy the flow. The flow copied will be owned by the team member who initiated the copy. By default the copied flow will be turned off and set to the “Private” access.
What is going to be the new name of the copied/cloned global flow?: For example, if you have a flow named “Email Marketing”, When you copy it, it will be named “Email Marketing Copy”.
Step 1: Find your Flow. In Cliently, on the left side bar, find Flows and click on it.
Step 2: Select your flow to be copy. From the dropdown list, choose the flow you wish to copy.
Step 3: Access Settings. Next, you will need to go into the flow settings, by clicking on the "Gear" icon.
Step 4: Copy Global Flow. Next, find the link to “Copy Flow” and click on it.
Confirm, by clicking on the blue “YES” button to complete the copy. Please keep in mind that the copy will bring over all data from the original flow. This includes the {tokens} used as well as the return address information used in the physical mail options - postcards, handwritten notes, gift cards.
Step 5: Copy has been completed. The copy has been created and you will see the copied global flow has been added. Please note: The name of the copied global flows has been added with (COPY). In order to use the flow for you contacts/leads, you must “ENABLE” the flow.
