Learn how to complete Cliently Tasks in Salesforce

Focus: The focus of this public FAQ/Self Help guide is to provide you an overview and details about the completion of Cliently Tasks using the Salesforce Application.

What are Tasks?: A Task action is an item you can add to your flow to designate an event that needs to happen. You can add LinkedIN, Phone and Other tasks. Tasks can be added during any step in your flow. When the Task action is triggered, you will receive an in-app notification in “Tasks” about the event and have the ability to complete the task using the Application.

Step 1: Using Tasks. As shown below when we have example of a Phone Call task that has been enabled on a flow. The Task is ready to be processed.

Step 2: Using application to complete the task. Next, click on the “Task” button on the right side of the application. Here you will see the tasks that are due with a notification of the number of tasks that are due for today.

Step 2-A: Task List - Global or Contact Tasks - We have included a switcher that you can use to see ALL Global tasks for all contacts or tasks for individual contacts. You can also click on the contact name in red to pull up the access the contact in the CRM.

Step 3: Using filters to select tasks that are due.  In the list of tasks, we also include two filters to be used to help find your tasks quickly. These include: Task type and time selection.

Step 4: How to complete specific types of Tasks.

Step 4-A: Email (Other Task) Click on the “Checkmark” to start the completion process.

Next, type in your completion notes and click on the orange “Save” button”.

Step 4-B: Meeting (Other Task) Click on the “Checkmark” to start the completion process.

Next, type in your completion notes and click on the orange “Save” button”. 

Step 4-C: Other (Other Task) Click on the “Checkmark” to start the completion process.

Next, type in your completion notes and click on the orange “Save” button”. 

Step 4-D: Phone Call Click on the “Checkmark” to start the completion process.

Next, you must select a call “disposition” and add in Notes. Click the Orange button to save.

Please note: If you have enabled “Stop Workflow management options” for the call task - Demo Booked and Not interested during the setup of your flow. Step 5-A on Salesforce Flow/Marketing campaign FAQ. When completing the phone call task and if  you select one of those options the flow will automatically stop/turn off. 

Step 4-E: LinkedIn InMail / Message Click on the “Checkmark” to start the completion process.

Next, type in your completion notes and click on the orange “Save” button”.  Please note: You can also click on the “Copy Message” button to copy your task setup message. When you do this, this will be copied to your device’s clipboard and can be pasted in the completed notes section. 

Step 4-F: LinkedIn Connect Click on the “Checkmark” to start the completion process.

Next, type in your completion notes and click on the orange “Save” button”.  Please note: You can also click on the “Copy Message” button to copy your task setup message. When you do this, this will be copied to your device’s clipboard and can be pasted in the completed notes section. 

Step 5: Task History. When you complete each task, there will be history included in the contact record in Salesforce, under “Activity History”.
